Happy Wednesday, everyone!
Not a lot new on my desk this week. Bob came home Tuesday night and that's pretty much been the extent of my time. However, for an early Mother's Day present I did take a couple of days to myself and went down to Branson MO. For those of you not familiar, Branson is an touristy, entertainment community. Lots of live shows and shopping.
I went down on Friday night to see the folks from Larry's Country Diner - an interview/ music show on the RFD-TV network. I do promo for a lot of their guests. This particular night, they had Georgia native, Mark Wills. I love Mark's music and was thrilled with the opportunity to spend a few minutes with him, getting a brief interview.

Saturday I walked a bit of the 76 strip to a scrapbooking store - Scrapbook Forever. Shirley Heard has an amazing selection. Just about anything and everything you could want all in one place!
Here's a shot of my first purchase:
The 2 packages of brads are adorable. One has black old fashioned rotary dial phones and vintage fans. The other package contains bunnies! white ones as well as tan/ cream colored. Just too adorable to pass up. And her prices were AMAZING!
Yes, I said first purchase. After I'd paid for these I turned from the register to fall in love with these:
This was a small selection of SANTORO stamps. At $2.50 a piece, I just had to have several. $25 sounded like a nice round total LOL.
Here's a close up of one of the stamps:
No. 11 - You Brought Me Love
You can see by the ruler, they are petite and just cute as can be! I'm thinking ATCs.
I'll be working on some cards and the WOYWW ATCs this week so next week, I'm sure my desk will look like a tornado blew through.
That's my desk? What's on yours? When you are done visiting me in the Ozarks, please hop on over to Stamping Ground where Miss Julia has a long list of other studios you can peek into. No standing on an up-turned milk pail to look in the window. We open the doors wide and welcome you. We won’t touch.. just look. J I can't wait to peek but if Bob is home for I might be late again getting 'round. Pleaseleave your number and you'll be first on my list.
Oh, Kelly, I love your purchases! Those stamps are adorable! I want to trade ATCs with you, if I get some made! I am right below you today at 43
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful time out you had - all those famous folks, an interview, and then a craft store. Gorgeous purchases. How many of us, I wonder, dare own up to how often we purchase, turn around, and purchase again?! Most, probably. Well done.
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

ReplyDeleteHi Kelly, fab purchases. I've bought quite a few of the full size Gorjuss stamps in the past, not seen the small ones around over here. You got a great bargain there. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #11 xx
ReplyDeleteGood for you that you went out and had a good time.

I'd love to exchange ATCs with you. I'm number 16 today and I have a 'contact form' just above my blog archive.
Happy WOYWW,

Love the guitar stickers and the brads sound like fun, especially the bunnies. Happy WOYWW BJ#26
ReplyDeleteGreat stamps. I agree $25 sounds like a great round number. I love that stencil. It looks almost lacy.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.

Looks like you had a great time! I thing I bought those bunny brads too, got them shipped over here via the joys of eBay! Love the gorjuss girl stamps, 25 is definitely a sensible figure. Cara x
ReplyDeleteI'm originally from southern Illinois, although we never made it to Branson, many did vacay there. I've always wanted to go. Those Santoro stamps are adorable.
ReplyDeleteATC Swap: I tried to find your email to send my address to swap, but couldn't. I've updated my profile on my blog so that you can get my email. Send me your address and I'll send you mine back. Cheers, LisaDV
