GET ORGANIZED CHALLENGE - Embellishments

Week 2 in the ScrapRack Get Organized Challenge we worked on Embellishments. I do not store most of my embellishments in the scraprack. My fingers and those little 2.5 x 1.5 jewelry bags do not get along. I keep mine in the drawer of my stamping center. What I do plan to do is put a representation of each embellishment on my Color Family 12x12 in the Rainbow section so when I'm looking at colors I will know at a glance if I have the color I'm looking for before I go to the drawer.

However, since most of my Christmas embellishments are bulkier than a small brad/ eyelet style and I don't have room to store them in the drawers anyway I decided to go the bag route and store them in the Christmas section of the scraprack. Prior to this they were stored in one of those 3-drawer sterilite rolling carts.

I still have those little boxes of smaller embellishments to file but here is how the SR pages are shaping up...

I still have the other holidays to do but I'm running out of pages and I have to spend some time on business for awhile so I'm kind of on a hold for a week at least.

Finally, yesterday I showed you my punch storage. This next picture kind of goes with punches but also would work with scraps.  Whenever I punch something, I keep the negative. This gives me a free stencil to use in my art journals. Even if I only get one or two uses out of them, that's more than just tossing them initially.

I hope to finish embellishments soon.

GET ORGANIZED CHALLENGE Continues

I'm pretty sure Bob will frown at me for posting this picture. But I am so proud of him. He spoils me rotten. Anything I say I need, he finds a way to make it happen. While I do not recall him promising the moon, he does try.

In this picture, he is designing my punch storage. I had the idea to use this untapped 6' length on the back side of the work island. Hard to believe we built this almost 30 years ago and we never put any kind of finish on the back or ends.

A little wall board, some leftover trim from the room construction and we have a start.

Before I show you the next picture, let me say I do not have as many punches as some of you. Though I am building a stash for specific needs.

With the exception of the 2 new We R Memory Keeper punches I just purchased, these are all of my paddle and Martha Steward punches. See.. I have room for more!

We purchased this 3-rack shelf at menards in their closet organization department. The initial plan was to hang 2 of these on the long length of the work island but I forgot to account for that drop-down leaf. So We put one on the end cap to hold all of my SU punches as well as the ones that do not have a deep enough paddle to hang such as the EK Success ones you see in the 2nd basket.
My challenge will come when I add more of the SU style punches. I might have to put all the minis from that bottom shelf in a bowl on my work table. But for now, everything is at my fingertips as, while I have that space in front of the window in the stamping area, I really prefer to stand when I work and the island is perfect to spread out and really get into a project.

If you're wondering what happened to Week 2, I did begin sorting the embellishments and I'll show you those tomorrow. I'm spending this week trying to catch up on all of my blog posts.

Creative Blessings!

WOYWW #334

Goodmorning, peeps! Not a lot has changed on my desk from last week except the addition of some shopping we did while in the city for Bob's birthday last week. A trip to the city always means a stop at B & N. I picked up the newest copy of Scrap & Stamp as well as one of the UK mags.

This was a bonus Christmas Card collection. This Bumper Pack magazine included:

32 Christmas papers
12 decoupage sheets
87 toppers & motifs
12 stamps
71 festive greetings
8 cut-outs to colour
2 embossing folders
Project magazine

Well, they had me at this adorable stamp set:

I will be playing with those adorable polar bears soon.

That's my desk? What's on yours? I can't wait to peek but Bob is home for a few more days so I might be late again getting 'round. But leave your number and you'll be first on my list.

Not sure what's going on? Hop on over to Miss Julia's at Stamping Ground and pick up the trail of lots of lovely work spaces to peek into and join in the fun. We won't touch.. just look :-)

THE SCRAP RACK FALL CLASS - Week 2 Results

SU CARDSTOCK & Designer Paper

Last week, our assignment was to begin sorting our paper. I had most all of mine sorted from the fall class last year in preparation for the move (that took a year LOL).

I have learned through the challenge that I like storing my cardstock by the Rainbow as opposed to color family.  The top shelf is all SU Cardstock 8.5x11. The bottom shelf is GP White, SU Black as well as what I have left in SU 12x12 and the SU Designer Paper (DP).

SLABS

This shelf is all of my Slabs - DCWV,, Paper Studio and Craft Paper. One of the discussions that always comes up when talking about the ScrapRack is 'should I tear my slabs apart?' The best answer is NO. The concept behind the ScrapRack is to store things together that you will use together. Most slabs are a theme within themselves... so you will use those papers together on your projects.

So that I have a reference of what I have taken a picture of the cover of each slab. As soon as I have an ink cartridge for the photo printer, I will print them out as a 4x6 photo. These will store in the pockets of the Perfect Six page, giving me a visual reminder of each slab I have here.

6 x 6/ 4.5 x 6.5

I will cover these boxes with fabric to match the studio. I'm a flipper and this works for me.

Loose paper by Theme

Divider tab made from a plastic place mat.

Because I don't have a lot of pages per theme, I plan to move these to the ScrapRack in their specific categories.  I am going to keep the Christmas paper stored like this as I have a lot of Christmas papers.

I have pictures of my scrap rack as it's shaping up but they are on my phone. I'll have pictures of that soon.

I can't believe how much more space I have within the studio now that I'm storing about 90% in the ScrapRack.  The key is finding what works for you. I am a flipper so file storage and book page style work best for me.

And because I've accomplished Week 2, I get my Reward...  $50 in my Travel bank!

What is working for you? Please share!

Creative Blessings!

SHOPPING HAUL

Last Thursday was Bob's birthday. He wanted to go to Springfield to shop for a gun barrel. His birthday wish put me in proximity to lots of shopping options. I did 'shop with intent' as I'm learning with the S2S thread on Splitcoast Stampers and through the ScrapRack.

I'm building my stencil supply and couldn't pass up these lacy designs in the Christmas section at DEALS. Over time I'm sure the glitter will flake off but that will not hurt the stencil any.

Mostly, I was on the hunt for things I could use in my 2016 Glam Planner. I'm saving the planner specific items for another post but here were some of the little extras I found:

These are actually tiny vials of nail art. There are punch shapes, angel hair flakes, fine glitter, micro beads and chunky glitter. I found these at Dollar Tree and my first thought was cute additives for shaker cards. I picked up several of each.. Some will be included in a Spring Giveaway coming up after the new year.

I got these from the $1.50 tower bins at Michaels. They are adhesive border strips in pretty metallic. They'll be awesome on cards or decorating my planner. I bought one of each of the colors available.

Everything in this picture came from Hobby Lobby except the embossing folders. Not sure why they got in this picture. LOL I bought a 4-pack of Tim's distress ink spots at Michaels a couple of weeks ago on their Halloween 50% off (which is still going on in case you want to make a trip). So I needed the tin. The foot ball stickers and notepad will go in with my planner stuff. The heart charms I picked up in case I do any more book promotions. Just wondering where these hearts were at when my book came out last year. They would be perfect as a give away since a heart on a chain is a token in the book.

And a close up of the two embossing folders I got at JoAnns:

I thought both of these would be great for a more elegant style card.

I always pick up 5 packs of the Studio G pop dots when I'm at Michaels. I won't run out for awhile. The smaller tape runners and package of glue dots are for my planner kit.

And lastly, I found these cute candy-stripe med. clothes pins and the gold washi tape at TJ Max. I plan to string the clothes pins on twine for hanging our Christmas cards this year. In past years we have always taped them around the doorway of the living room. Between the blower for the heat kicking on and the cats thinking everything belongs to them, this is no longer an option. The clothespins will be perfect.

And if you think that's all the washi tape I came home with... well.... The rest I'll be showing in a planner post later. I will tell you two things.

DEALS had an excellent selection.
TARGET  has a new stash hitting their $1 bins. If they've not materialized yet, they are in the back room waiting to be put out. I found an errant one in the office supply and the guy checked... only to inform me it hadn't come out yet and that someone had probably picked that one up at another target and brought it back to this store. Hmmm... why would anyone buy Washi then RETURN it? LOL Whatever.. just if you are into Washi... keep an eye on your local Target $ bins.

That's all I have for today. I'm already behind on stuff.. as is usually the case when Bob is home. But I wouldn't trade my time with him for anything on this computer. Life is too precious.
Creative Blessings!

WOYWWW #333

a

Good morning! Would you like a cup of coffee? As you can see, there is a bit of room at the desk for us.

Actually, this is the big island in the center of the room that seems to have become my work station. Not a lot of change from last week. In the foreground you will see (L to R) new Sharpie Pens. They've come out with a 4-pack black, red, blue, green! Other stuff below there I'll be showing in another post. Next to that are the 2016 2-pg monthly pages for my 2016 planner. I'm on the hunt for the binder to use but otherwise everything else is ready for a separate post. Next to that is my tool caddy to keep things off the work surface and in reach.

Aside from that, everything is pretty much the same as last week. All the card making supplies out so I can make one here and there when I need a break from the computer.

One quick pic before you head out. My cutting station is finally set up:

The whole purpose of this area was so I could leave my Cricut and Vagabond out all the time, ready for use. Below the Vagabond you can just see the shelf where I keep all of  my cutting pads. You will get a better look at this area when I give a studio tour in a couple of weeks. We're almost THERE!

Oh, don't wash your cup! I'll take care of that. You have lots more studios to peek in on. Hop on over to Julia's at Stamping Ground to pick up your travel itinerary. Have Fun!

DIE STORAGE

We are always looking for new ways to organize our crafting supplies. These thin dies seem to be a challenge. We need an easy access to them without worrying about them getting warped or bent. I am just getting started with these dies so I don't have a lot... only 8 sets, in fact. But I only buy things I know I will get multiple uses from.

I got the idea for this storage from Tiffany Spaulding and crew at The Scrap Rack.  Last year she came out with the Die-Namic Storage and I fell in love with the concept... except for one small issue. The die storage sheets are tacky, like the old 'magnetic' photo albums. I saw a potential problem with this (for me personally). The tackiness may wear out after a few times of removing/ replacing the dies. What I do like about the Die-Namic storage is the slender, flip style of the pockets.

A couple of other companies, such as ArtBin, use magnetic sheets for storing the dies. I liked this idea much better so I decided to combine the two into a less-expensive version of both.

I chose the gusseted similar to these from Office Depot. These run just under $6. I know you can buy these at $ Tree but I wanted something a bit more sturdy and as I won't need 10 or 12 (as I know some of you might hehe), I opted to pay more for durability.

Each envelope pouch will hold 13 sheets.  I bought magnet sheets from Michaels (never could find the less expensive, larger sheets at the home improvement store. I was told they were out of 'season')

I cut each sticky-backed sheet  8.5 x 4.75 and adhered to a sheet of chip board (recycled from backs of tablets and other sources).

There is room in the pocket behind the mat sheet for any recipe/ description sheets from the packaging.

I can slide these on the shelf below my cutting station 'book' style, taking up less than 1.5" of space on the shelf!

This is one of many 'new' organizational ideas I'll be sharing in the coming weeks as I finish putting the new studio space together.

FRIDAY FREEBIE - The Scrap Rack Get Organized Challenge Fall 2015!

The ScrapRack Organized Fall Class has begun. Tuesday was our first of six lessons. One of our assignments was to create our Big Benefits Board.  These are the GOALS we want to accomplish over the next six weeks AND set a REWARD for each of those GOALS.

Normally this class is an 8-week course:
The Basics -get acquainted with the 4-Section System, make our Big Benefits Board and
begin to gather all of our supplies.
Piles of Paper - Create our sorting templates. Sort 8" stack of paper
Embellishments - Using the sorting templates, sort the embellishments AND 4"-6" of paper
Photos - Create a Filing system for photos and sort them AND 4" of paper
Memorabilia - Sort & Label ScrapRack inserts, Sort 1 Container of stuff and 4" of paper
Stamps & Punches - Catalog punches (including cricut & dies) Sort 1 Container of stuff
Inks, Pens, Colors - Consider Storage of these & Catalog. Purge ones that don't work
Crop On! - How to pack for a crop or retreat

I don't know how Tiffany is squishing these 8 into 6 classes but since I've been through this class three or four times already, I have  a handle on a lot of things. I just need to get stuff put into the rack.

My rewards for each of the weeks last fall included:

Although I didn't complete all of the challenges AT THE TIME, over the course of putting the studio together I've acquired all of the items. So this time around I have different rewards.

So here is my Big Benefits Board this time around:

The Big Benefit: Have an Organized, Inspiring Space

Each of the tabs with the crown are a pull-out with my reward for that week. I'm not peeking to remind myself what I get each week, but here are the things I've chosen:

Art Day (this is for week one so EARNED)
$25 Tim Holtz shopping
$100 Travel money
Movie Night
Game Night
$50 Travel

The travel money is important as I am planning several trips in 2016 so starting to stash that cash back now.  And for completing all 6 lessons - something I've never done before, I'm rewarding myself $200 in Travel Cash.

I'm posting this on our 2011 Get Organized Challenge FB page then hanging the constant reminder to keep me moving forward.

Are you getting organized? Share what you are doing to make your space more inviting and inspiring!

WOYWW #332

Good morning and happy WOYWW from a very chilly Ozarks region of MO. We are at 45 degrees F. The day has promise to be gorgeous as I watch the sun top the trees. I have laundry ready to go on the line and a house to clean.

When you are done visiting me in the Ozarks, please hop on over to Stamping Ground where Miss Julia has a long list of other studios you can peek into. No standing on an up-turned milk pail to look in the window. We open the doors wide and welcome you.

My desk hasn't changed a lot since last week. The CD binder and photo album beneath has all of my digi images. Brenda, over at Disney Girl offered up a challenge for us to beat her to participating in the October challenge at Scrapbook Blessings. Anything goes but the optional is to use ONLY a digi image. I thought this was a good one to play with.

The stack of receipts to the right need to be logged into my Stamp 2 Spend check register. Goal is to track how much we spend, thus encouraging us to use more of what we have. We 'pay' ourselves for making cards, scrapbook LOs, etc... using what we have before buying new. I know I am so in the RED that I've avoided tracking for a very long time. Determined to do that today.

This is the other end of the work island. Nothing exciting. Tub of various adhesives, my paddle sizzix for when I just need one of something. This is temporary until I get my cutting station fully set up. The paper holders are all of my Recollections cardstock. I use that on cards I know people are just going to toss.

There.. I've shown you mine. Let's see yours. I love snooping in to see what everyone else is working on.

Creative Blessings!

WOYWW #331 - Merry Christmas!

Each Wednesday we join Miss Julia over at Stamping Ground to open up the doors to our studios and let you see what we are working on. We are always looking for new workspaces to snoop through, so join us! We'd love to have you.

I'm jumping in this week because I actually made a card (see yesterday's post) and I actually have a surface to work on again. Yay!  Everything you see here is laid out in preparation for making my Christmas cards. I wanted to do them on Saturday for National Card Making Day but I wound up just working on the card list instead. My silly OCD won't let me do anything until all the components are in place.

Quick photo tour. The ring binder in the foreground is where I keep all the card ideas I've saved from SCS and Pinterest. I try to label them with the original designer so I can credit them when I make mine.

Across the back, the most recent flyer from Tim Holtz, preprinted sentiments, 2 new punches from WeR Memories that I got off clearance last week, cards in envies I've already completed and the paper keepers holding the Recollections cardstock and all of my Christmas DP.  In the far ground, the card blanks. I my SU cardsstock for my artistic friends who appreciate the love that went into them.

EXPLOSION Birthday Card!

Today's post is monumental for me. Not only did I get to make a card but this one also applies to a challenge on the Stamp2Spend Challenge on SCS.

I knew when I saw an Explosion Card, that it was the perfect one for my granddaughter. Abby turns 4 years old on Sunday. Just does not seem possible that only four short years ago I was taking the little bundle of blessings from the nurse and presenting her to her daddy.

I would love to see her face when she opens her card and sees this:

While the card is all girly, her present is a set of hot wheels with a launcher and track. LOL Just like Adrian, she is at that car stage. I think because they are small and easy to fit in her little hands. Portable toys are always a good thing.

Now, I don't want anyone to faint, but I will be back tomorrow for WOYWW to show you my latest project.

WOYWW #326

I want to send out a huge THANK YOU to Merit for offering up one of her classes for free. I won a spot in the giveaway she promoted here a couple of weeks ago. Yay Me! I'm so looking forward to really breaking in the studio this week with so many creative projects. But first....

My desk this week. I used Tiffany Spaulding (The Scrap Rack) way of sorting stuff to go through all the mixed media supplies. I'll be able to find stuff. Yay!

I had hoped to have this project finished but no where I went yesterday had the right color of contact paper to cover the cat litter boxes I'm recycling into storage drawers for the mixed media cabinet. So that will have to wait until I go into the city tomorrow.

My sister in law and I are getting together for a full-on creative session on Saturday. While the guys are at a target shoot, she and I will have all day to christen the new studio. I will be in Christmas card mode so I really need to get this mess put away... even if it means putting into the uncovered boxes temporarily. :-(

Also, a couple of you had commented about the cubby storage running the length of this table. That is actually custom built by my hubby from 1"x 4" boards. He cut, glued and painted this special unit to hold all my tools within reach. yep.. I'm keeping him :-D

Wanna find out what this blog hop is all about.. Head on over to StampingGround where Miss Julia will give you all the details.

As for me... we are on the go the next couple of days so will probably be Saturday before I get to visit most of you. Thanks for stopping in!

MIXED MEDIA MONDAY - New Toys and a Give Away!

Okay.. the Give Away is NOT mine but if you love mixed media or art journaling than you definitely want to get in on the drawing for this class give away.

So hop on over to MaritsPaperWorld for your chance to win a spot in this awesome class!

Speaking of Mixed Media, I ordered some things from Oriental Trading last week. I needed a bunch of those mister bottles (like the ones from Ranger). These are exactly like those without the logo and I get 2x as many for the price. So while I was ordering those, I added a few other items I couldn't pass up.

The six boxes in the back hold 6 of the mister bottles. I also ordered 2 pkgs of Washi Tape (Tell me.. does that surprise any of you? LOL) 1 is Travel themed and the other is Sewing theme... and a single roll of Potion Bottles. I already have them labeled and in their forever home.

I liked this set of Typewriter styled numbers and icons. Now if I just had an alphabet set to match. Will have to keep my eye out..

And lastly in this picture is a set of purple witch hats. Halloween is coming!

What this picture doesn't show is a set of 'fence' stencils. The first picture shows them all 'punched out':

There are six different fence styles I thought would be interesting in journal pages. But be warned... see all those openings in the fence panels (including the lattice one at the top...) They come still filled in and you need to punch them out. Here is a picture of one in progress of being punched...

I've dropped all those little pieces into a cup. They may become a spatter pattern across a page or two before they are tossed.

Next week I'll show you another Mixed Media. A couple gals have asked about the ratio of my paint to water in my spray acrylics. I just ordered 30 more empty bottles from Amazon so I could do all of my Folk Art Acrylics now that they are in their forever home. I might even give you a sneak peek of that unit...

WOYWW #323 - Progress

Technically, this is not my work desk.. you can just see part of that in the top right. This foreground shot is of my new cutting station. The two filing cabinets in the front will serve as the base for my ScrapRack unit. Then the rest of the length.. formed by four 3-shelf book cases will be used as a cutting station for my Vagabond and Cricut tools. I think the tool caddy Bob made me several years ago is in it's forever home. Well, forever as soon as Bob gets the shelf board cut that will cover this entire top for an even playing surface. We just ran out of time before he had to head back out onto the boat for the next 21 days. So yes, for the next 21 days I am in limbo again.

A couple of weeks ago I showed the carpet boxes I was cutting apart. What I didn't show was the ginormous Ziplock bag - XXL (2'W x 2.5'L or 60CM x 82CM) that was BULGING with misc. chip board, cardboard, foamboard, matboard. I went through the entire contents and cut things down that I wanted to keep and used most of the cardboard as garden mulch.

I kept the mat board pieces, larger foam core, larger chip board and fit the 'keepers' into this:

Initially, this cabinet held all of my StampinUp 12x12 cardstock. I've since moved it to 'file' storage on the top and repurposed these drawers to hold the condensed cardboard bag. If I can not fit something into a drawer I either have to swap with something already in there or pitch. But once I'm able to start constructing mixed media pieces, I don't see that as a delimma. :-)

So why am I showing you a sneak peek? Because this is what is on my desk and every week near 100 bloggers join in the snoop of each others workspaces courtesy of Miss Julia at StampingGround. You are welcome to join us! I'm sure what you have on your desk is way more exciting than mine!

WOYWW #320 - Cardboard!

Exciting, eh? This is one of about 20+ boxes I have on hand from the carpet squares we bought for the office. They measure about 18.5" square and maybe 2" deep. Now that they are empty and the carpet is in place, I could not bear to part with this really good cardboard. Not when I finally have a spot to actually work on mixed media, art journals, etc. So I put two of the boxes aside. One to hold full 18" square pieces and one to hold the top portion of the box. (see the top has a hole cut in the upper corner)

So why am I showing you cardboard? Because this is what is on my desk and every week near 100 bloggers join in the snoop of each others workspaces courtesy of Miss Julia at StampingGround. You are welcome to join us! I'm sure what you have on your desk is way more exciting than mine!

So here is what one of the boxes looks like in progress....

I am trimming all of the excess away, retaining the 2 larger pieces. The boxes I'm storing them in will stand on end in the mixed media area of the art studio. Keeping these larger pieces is having me take a look at the variety of pieces I have downstairs that will probably get taken to recycling.

I should have something with a bit more color next week.

MIXED MEDIA MONDAY - #LoveSummerArt

Did you spend the weekend zoning out to all the craft videos on YouTube for the #LoveSummerArt fest?  I watched several. Not as many as I'd planned but enough to amp up my creative juice. I know.. like I needed extra wattage!  So I thought I'd link you to some of the videos I found most interesting.

First and foremost - and this is the one that will get me into trouble - is from theartsharpa. This hastag event was her brainchild. She is the enabler for all the cool things we have the opportunity to view.  I loved her beach picture in acrylics for beginners.

I do NOT paint. Okay.. I said that once before then my super artsy friend, Carla (see her button on the right - Carla Scraps) taught me One Stroke. Fell in love with One Stroke. I think Sherpa may very well be the person to teach me to let go and enjoy playing with the acrylics. We'll see. I do plan to attempt this project - and have an idea to take it a step further into the Mixed Media world. I'll keep you posted.

Here is a list of a few of the other videos I really liked:

Krazy Island Studios - art journal page
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7oIPUGr85w
She is moving to Hawaii so is working with limited supplies but does a lovely layout. Made me want to doodle flowers!

Cat Hand - art journal page
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6_0YqZ5RkQ
Cat summer thought went to watermelon and shows how to do the cutest addition to an art journal page using mosaics made from Gelli prints.

There was one other gal. I can't find her video right now but her summer is all about vacation and travel so she showed how she packs her basic art journal supplies - even for flying - so that she can still journal wherever the summer fun take her. As soon as I find her link I'll add it back here. I was also captured by her granddaughter. Made me miss crafting with my girls.

The cool thing about this hashtag party is that they plan to do a new theme every month. Subscribe to Sherpa's page so you'll know when the next one starts. As soon as I hear, I'll post here or my sidebar.

The other thing is that as we all know, anything on the internet is there forever - so six months from now when it's cold and there's nothing to do, we can search #LoveSummerArt and be taken away to warm, creative places.

Creative Blessings!

TANGLED THREADS & TECHNIQUES - Row By Row 1

I love this sentiment. Now if I just had the time. Hopefully, that will open up with the new studio organization. I'm preparing for the event, in any case.

This was the quilt plate from Quilts and Quilts in Branson MO. There are two stores in Branson on the Row By Row Experience. While Bob and I were on vacation a couple of weeks ago, I made this one of my 'must stop' places. I loved the selection and could have wandered longer than I did had it not been we wanted out of town ahead of a nasty thunder storm.

The first thing I ask about was the guitar fabric like I'd found a small quantity of in Llano Texas. She had some as well as a couple other fabrics that coordinated well.

the one on the left is hard to see but is a sheet music print then the other is just an all over design that matches.

Then I found Tim Holtz fabric! I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. I bought a quarter yard of every print she had... well except for one. the bluish colored 'Correspondence' fabric will fit in my studio perfectly so I bought three yards plus this quarter.

I bough t (from left to right: Cigar Box, Documentation, Mercantile, Rulers, Travel Labels and Correspondence.

Notice tht postage print has a bit of blue and brown and I think I can even make an undertone appear peach. Wish I could have afforded to buy enough for the Valances in here but I'll turn it into something :-)

I also fell in love with this floral that almost has a postage stamp look with the way the lace border around each blog is presented. I'm thinking this will be lovely cut apart and applied to a fabric journal I want to do.

Lastly, I found a couple of things I can use as I begin organizing the office. I'll show them to you know then as I put the studio together, I'll show you how I use them.

That fabric organizer is perfect size for quarter yard pieces. And those tags... they are a swatch ring!
