WOYWW #469 - Update - no desk

Okay.. I have no desk to show this week. Instead, I'll show you one of the cards I made last week - you know.. since I couldn't be on line LOL

This was the 'April' challenge for the Christmas Challenge Facebook group I belong to. We were to use Black/ White/ with a pop of color. You can see the details for the card HERE  For our May challenge, we're to make four cards using 'Sparkle' & 'Shine'. I know she doesn't mean the Disney characters my granddaughters love. hehe I see glitter and embossing in my future.

And I apologize for not getting round to many of you last week. Until yesterday, I've had limited internet since Thursday last week. I couldn't use third-party applications like Pinterest, IG or Palringo at all and web pages loaded so slow that at times they timed out. And I have HughesNet 5G!

So I've been cleaning up a storm. Forced myself to leave the house yesterday with ATCs laying on the table :: palm to forehead ::::  Those will go out this weekend.

I've received lovely ATC's from Kim and from Margaret.

I can tell you the backgrounds on mine use the 'marble' technique. I'll show them off after I know everyone has received theirs.

Bob comes home tomorrow night. Let the Go Go Go begin! LOL

Creative Blessings!
Kelly

  2. Hi Kelly, It's amazing how much we can get done when the Internet goes down, I agree. Happened to us for 2 days last year, and I got 21 Stampscapes cards stamped & coloured, lol. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #6 XxX

  3. Loads of people seem to have internet woes this week so I'm glad that you seem to be ok now - but it's amazing how much you got done eh? Be good to have your other half back home!

  5. Hi Kelly, I've been reading about HughesNet. It's not available in my area. Just cox (which I can't afford) and ATT, which I'm on and it's the slowest speed I could buy. I hope you get your internet back to your liking soon. Doesn't say much for HughesNet, does it? Happy WOYWW from # 10. Looks like Sharon didn't post this week.

  6. 5G and not enough speed..yikes they need to pull up their socks. How frustrating. It’s so easy to leave the house without stuff you mean to take.. I put stuff on the stand in the hall and if it’s there for more than a day, I get so used to seeing it there that I miss it completely! Love the reversed out text stamp on your card, nearly choked on my coffee to see a Christmas card, have to be honest! I am looking forward to your glitter and embossing moments!

  7. Hi Kelly, hope your internet troubles are resolved soon. Isn't it surprising how much extra time we have when we can't get online lol? Have a great week. Sarah #8

  8. Happy Belated WOYWW! Before we got broadband up our mountain, we tried Hughsnet---we made them give us our money back..between weather issues, and upload lag, dial-up was almost better. Of course, that was 3 years ago; now everything is so data-heavy, I don't think dial-up can even function. I hope yours get straightened out soon!! TTYS>

  9. Hi Kelly. I'm really late visiting this week - been a bit of a week one way and another... Love the card, and I'm so glad the ATC has safely arrived.
    Take care. God bless.
