Good morning, crafty friends.
So far we've escaped the ice that was predicted for Monday, Tuesday, and today. We're hovering at about 34* F.
Lots to do in the office today. Here's my desk:
I have a video going up this morning for the 50 States coffee table junk journal I'm making. I'm trying to showcase a video on some part of the project every Wednesday. Today is about making pockets for the '5 Must See Places' in each state.
I know a majority of you are from across the pond but if you have any information about your state, I'd love for you to put it in the comments of any of my Wednesday videos. If you have a YouTube channel, I'll be sure to give you a shout out.
That's it for my desk (and story)
this week. Who's Miss Sarah and why am I here?
When you are done visiting me in the Ozarks, please hop on over to Sarah’s Craft Shed for all the details. Miss Sarah has a long list of other
studios you can peek into. No standing on an up-turned milk pail to look in the
window. We open the doors wide and welcome you.
Please leave your number and you'll be among the first on my list.
Creative Blessings!
~ Kelly
Gosh that is mighty chilly, just a few degrees warmer here so still near freezing. I'm in the UK but did visit the US a couple of times, you just have to include the Grand Canyon such an amazing sight to behold. Hugs bj#3
ReplyDeleteI always like seeing a map used in some creating! I’m a Map Geek, proud and unashamed, lol!! Your 5 interesting facts sounds brilliant, must be hard in some states where there’s a lot of things to see/do. In my county in Wales, it would be castles, there must be about 20!

Well I had to convert the temperature and as BJ said, that’s cold, but hopefully you are warm inside! Your project sounds fascinating, I would say Welsh waterfalls would be on my list! Happy WOYWW. Angela #13
ReplyDeleteThat does sound chilly for sure. Thje county where we live is the home of the Red Arrows who are quite busy at the moment getting ready for their new season but at least they don't fly over too early in the morning. Other than that we're agricultural. Happy woyww, Angela x11x
ReplyDeleteI hope you stayed warm... I like to use maps too. Happy WOYWW helen #1
ReplyDeleteLancashire used to be famous for its cotton trade but that has all gone now, Samuel Crompton invented the Spinning Mule not far from where I live and has associations with Hall I'the Wood which is a black and white timbered home, now a museum. Robert Peel who formed the first public police force lived in Bury which is not too far from where I am.
ReplyDeleteGosh, it is awfully cold where you are, thank goodness the coldest weather has gone for a short break at the moment. It sounds really interesting what you are doing - my DH loves maps. Give him a map when he is lost for something to do and he will spend an hujr or so looking at it.
Hugs, Neet 2 xx
I will have to check out your video! I am sitting here freezing! It is 31F in Atlanta, Georgia! I so glad I decided to live here instead of my native state, Pennsylvania! :D)
ReplyDeleteGeorgia Aquarium - Atlanta
Warm Springs - Roosevelt Center
World of Coca Cola - Atlanta
Atlanta Botanical Gardens
Martin Luther King Historical Site
The Carter Presidential Library
I was the firm administrator for the company that designed and built the Carter Presidential Libary so I am extra proud of that facility. My boss painted the officia portrait of President Carter that hangs in the Library.
We were also the design firm for the Atlanta Olympic Park which is another great place to visit.
Have a fantastic week!

We are hovering at about 34 C! It has been so hot - fortunately we have air con inside. I too am making travel pieces for a (small) junk journal at the moment. Mine are mostly Australian though.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW! Susan #5
Hi Kelly saw your question. I'm in Lincolnshire Uk, they grow lots of things here: well known for sugar beet, potatoes, rape seed, cereal crops, chickens, pigs, famous lincolnshire Longwool sheep, Lincoln Red Cattle and many other things. Look forward to seeing the videos they sound useful. Happy creating, Angela xXx
