WOYWW #278

Welcome to Whats On Your Workdesk Wednesday (WOYWW) and what my desk looks like this morning. Remnants of various projects. Let's cruise:  The package of fall leaves I picked up while grocery shopping last night. Thought they might make nice masks for art journaling spots, the grid is where I made paint swatches of my acrylic paints before going shopping. the paints in the background are the new ones I picked bought to fill in gaps. Heat gun to dry those swatches fast - cause you know I thought of this like an hour before I needed to leave LOL The gold paint pen and the stack of APC.

I'll have the details tomorrow what I'm doing with the paint pen.

In the mean time, hop on over to Julia's Stampin' Ground to hook up with an extensive group of bloggers opening their studios for your snoop.  If you're a player in our group, please remember to leave your # so I make sure to stop by.

Creative Blessings!
Kelly

  1. Kelly, thanks for your visit. Yes, the SDC Crafts/Cowboy festival is quite good this year. I have to tell you though, I was taking pictures and the lady at the painted gourds booth got mad at me! Then I saw her tiny sign asking that no photos be taken! I've never seen crafters at a festival restrict photos before, so it caught me off guard. I guess so many of them are afraid of people copying their work I guess. And I usually take pictures of everything! I'm not sure where your town is, I live in Springfield. You should come sometime to a taping of FYI Guy--his new craft show airs on the CW locally, but they are hoping to go national. Have a good week! Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #56

  4. Well, that's a good busy desk! You have so many projects on the go and I love the fact that you have to heat dry your work cos you're going out :-). The fall leaves sound fun, you'll have to show what you end up making with them!

  6. Hi Kelly happy WOYWW and thanks for visiting my desk. The idea to use leaves as mask is super and to have a handy record of what colour paints you have is the best as you always seem to go for your fav colours - which you already have. Cheers and enjoy your week RobynO#40

  15. That's a good idea to take paint swatches with you - I am not happy with acrylics at the moment as I spilt Brushed Pewter distress paint down my new jeans! oh well the perils of being a crafter eh! Thanks for visiting me. Sunshine Girl #5

  17. Oooh… I’m awfully late getting back to you since you commented on my woyww post last week… it’s even another woyww-wednesday! (but I do not see a new woyww post from you, so I place my comment here…) I smiled reading about you having to quick dry the paint before you went shopping... I can relate to that! Have fun creating with the new stuff, happy woyww and a big hug from Holland. Marit (10/1 woyww #50 and 10/9 woyww #38)
