WOYWW #503

I apologize for coming late to the party. I took the picture then got right to work. Didn't even think about getting the blog post up. I was focused on wanting to complete 1 project today.

Bob left yesterday. Not sure how long he will be gone this trip. He said he's going to work as many days as they'll let him. In the meantime, I'll spend my days trying to get caught up and on track around here.  Here's my desk for today:

I'm working on re-dating my garden planner from last year. I didn't use the planner as much as I'd hoped. Mostly because the weather just got too darned hot to want to be out in the garden. LOL Can't be the case this year. I should have my summer gardener (oldest granddaughter) to keep me motivated :-)

That's it for my desk this week. Who's Miss Julia and why am I here?  When you are done visiting me in the Ozarks, please hop on over to Stamping Ground  for all the details. Miss Julia has a long list of other studios you can peek into. No standing on an up-turned milk pail to look in the window. We open the doors wide and welcome you.  Please leave your number and you'll be among the first on my list.

Creative Blessings!

  1. Thought I'd done and then saw you. Hope you are okay without Bob but it will give you time to get stuff done. Take care and happy woyww, sending hugs, Angela x17x

  2. It's a great idea to upcycle last years planner Kelly, I always look to see if there are any usable parts when a planner is out of date before I finally get rid of it. You will find you will use it much more when you have put your own personal touch on it.
Have fun creating & Happy WoywW Tracey #9

  3. I always check back the next morning... catch the latercomers lol! happy WOYWW Helen #5

  4. Ah good idea to use it if not much used, I don’t use a planner at all let alone agarden one. I have garden lists though and birthday calendars so guess rather like, in its own way.
Enjoy your job catching up till DH returns again.
Happy belated WOYWW, Shaz in Oz.x #6

  5. Well I’m later than you! Good idea about the journal, won’t it be nice to have the odd previous reference as you get into gardening season again. Love to read that your granddaughter is a gardener, my word, I’ve only just achieved a smidgin of interest in it after all these years! I hope your days without Bob go quickly!

  6. Hi Kelly. Hope you get everything done and sorted that you need to whilst hubby is away - enjoy the garden planning... I hardly went into mine last summer, either, as I just don't do hot sunny weather - the blessing of having red hair and very fair skin1!
    Take care. God bless.

  7. Hi Kelly, Hope you get caught up with your projects.

Also hope the temperatures don't stop you getting out this year.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

    Happy WOYWW 503

  8. Cannot imagine anything nicer than having your summer gardener with you - especially now we all know it is your grand-daughter. Make the most of the time whilst Bob is away to get caught up with things then you will have more time together when he returns.
    Hugs, Neet xx

  9. Desk looks pretty good this week. Glad you are getting your planner all in order. I know you'll be happy to have your granddaughter with you It's been a long time.

  10. Not sure how I missed you Kelly. Hope you get more gardening done this year. Much better when you have company. Sarah #4
