WOYWW #365

I'm sorry I was so late getting to everyone from last week. We've had storms if not in our immediate vicinity, then close enough that I just left the internet off. As you'll see from my 'desk' this week, I kept busy. I also haven't finished my ATCs this week. I plan to mail them out on Friday when we go to town.

My desk this week has been all about getting every last embellishment I own categorized and into the ScrapRack system. I have sorting sheets like these for all of the themed and calendar year categories spread out on the floor in the office. I used this white table in the dining room to sort the 'rainbow' of embellishments.

These are shots of what I brought up out of the old office that needed to be sorted:

At the end of Day 2, those containers were empty and the sorting sheets covered. Here's a shot of the rainbow of embellishments after:

And a close up:

I had run out of zippy bags from the jewelry dept. to put some things in and redoing how I'm storing flowers so had to make a Hobby Lobby run today.

I also got all of the stamp sets cataloged by category. I have that photo on my phone so will try to remember to pull it for next week.

That's my desk? What's on yours? When you are done visiting me in the Ozarks, please hop on over to Lunch Lady Jan where she has a long list of other studios you can peek into. No standing on an up-turned milk pail to look in the window. We open the doors wide and welcome you. We won’t touch.. just look. J  I can't wait to peek. Please leave your number and you'll be first on my list.

  1. Hi Kelly, You have been busy organising your embellishments. Everything should be easier to find now . Happy woyww Jill #17

  2. Hi Kelly, wow, thats a lot of organising. I'm busily reorganising my stamps- thats a major job, I must have thousands! But it's getting there. Stamping/ adding an internet image of each stamp on a storage sheet to a page that goes opposite it, also printing off a second copy to go in a ring binder, so I can just flick through for inspiration. I do have a huge number already catalogued on my pc/phone on Evernote, so I don't duplicate buy!Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #18 xx

  3. You'll love being organized. Happy Wednesday! LisaDV #38

  4. I think you like the organizing more than the crafting! LOL I just keep crafting in my unorganized space. At least I have punches together in one place, and all the different things together. But, I have to admit, I just last night when scrapping couldn't find all my Christmas embellies, papers etc. Christmas "stuff" should be all together! Happy Wednesday! #51

  5. I know it's a long job but, oh, it'll be worth it when you've finished and you know where everything is! I hope the weather doesn't cause any more problems with the Internet for you...Mr Linky is doing quite well enough all by himself!!
    Hugs, LLJ xxxx

  6. Wow! You are organised! It's worth the effort because often you find things you never knew you had and you will get new inspiration looking at your stash. Well done!
Thank you for your address. Your Atc will be on its way soon. I'm glad you did not suffer much flooding. I know some of my blog friends have.
    Have a good week,
    Happy WOYWW,
