WOYWW #372

First on my list are two things:

Thank you Jan for keeping us in line in Julia's absence. I'm sure the task may have been only slightly easier than herding cats. We love ya!

And second is a huge WELCOME BACK to our Queen of Queens, Miss Julia Dunnit. Julia is back at the helm this week.

Okay.. so my desk:

I remembered I'd not cataloged the stamp sets that come with my Quick Cards magazines so pulled them out to catalog. So I'm shuffling them into the mix. This should take less than an hour this morning. Then this all gets put away and I have a dust ruffle to make for the lower shelf of our entertainment center. With two cats and now a dog, the shedding hair accumulates horribly around the books on that shelf.

Last week I posted a picture of my $1 stamp storage and mentioned the pink labels. This is what one of them looks like. Each pink package is a Studio G alphabet stamp. I am missing C and K. If anyone has one they'd like to sell, please let me know. I've tried contacting the company who cover Studio and can't get a response from their customer service. Really disappointing.  They are a major brand stamp company.

We are under a heat warning. I think the system moved in yesterday. I sat down in the recliner for an hour and woke up five hours later! Needless to say, not a lot got accomplished. So with hubby due home tonight, I'm doing the flight of the bumble bee trying to finish some things up.

That's my desk? What's on yours? When you are done visiting me in the Ozarks, please hop on over to Stamping Ground where Miss Julia has a long list of other studios you can peek into. No standing on an up-turned milk pail to look in the window. We open the doors wide and welcome you. We won’t touch.. just look. J  I can't wait to peek but if Bob is home for I might be late again getting 'round. Pleaseleave your number and you'll be first on my list.

  1. Hi Kelly, I know what you mean about animal fur. When we had our cat, I'd always think after vacuuming that I had enough fur in the bag to make another cat!Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #3

  2. You should try living with three dogs.. then you'll know what hair is! Lol. I wouldn't trade them though. Loving the stamps..and your organisational abilities too.Elaine no. 15

  3. I never thought about a dust ruffle at the bottom of shelving. We have 2 cats and 2 dogs, so lots of hair; plus living in the country equals lots of dust which I'm sure you know about as well. I didn't get any of the Studio G alphas, so I'm no help there. sorry. Happy Wednesday, LisaDV #33.

  4. Hello Kelly. Well done on all your organisation - fancy a trip to Wales??? I don't have any of those alphabet stamp sets either - sorry. Sorry, too that I was unable to get back to you after your really kind offer of an ATC. Life just got very silly, and being awake three or four times each night with John doesn't help the grey cells function adequately! I realise that I have left it far too late, and you will have given away all your spare ATCs by now to far more deserving cases. You also asked which magazine the stamps came with. Now you know I am really very naughty - I only ever buy magazines when I like the freebie - oops - hardly ever read the mag properly. Hangs head in shame!
    Take care. God bless.

  5. Hi Kelly, thank goodness I no longer have trouble with dog hairs as Maisie and Stan are schnauzers and they don't loose their hair though we do have to pay out for hair cuts. It's been really hot here too which we are not really used to so hope it cools down soon. Have a great woyww, Angela x 19

  6. No I don't have any of those stamps. I had never noticed them at the craft store either. I did finally get my Blog posted this morning. Never very exciting, but posted. Don't know how Wednesday comes so fast! LOL #46

  7. Wow, you are organized!
Sorry, I don't have any of those stamps, but I can imagine you want the complete set. They're useful.
Don't worry about the dust, just pour your hubby something nice, long and cold!
    Have a great week,

  9. Wow you really are organised! I have to do something with my regular stamps. The 'freebies' with magazines are still (at this point) attached to the mags!

I know what you mean about pet hair. When Ben our lab was alive hair seemed to be everywhere - enough to make another dog!

    Have a great week

  11. Hi Kelly, I can't blame the heat for my lack of mojo. Good on you for being so organised and keeping a catalogue of your stamps. Makes sense but I still just put them in a box and close the lid. Good luck with the missing letters. You never know woyww are amazing at helping. Have a lovely week.

  16. Kelly, how organised is that, cataloguing all your stamps, I can barely gather them together in the same cupboard. What a shame you can't get those last two stamp sets, have you tried Ebay, I expect you have.
Thanks for visiting my desk and the reason I posted from my phone is that I couldn't get picture from phone to laptop. By the way, the post you commented on was my first attempt to post on Wednesday and it was an old one, if you want to see the new one, go to number 27, third time lucky.
    Bless you for reading anyway.

  17. It is amazing how the stamps seem to multiple and duplicate. I am in the throes of trying to get them just on shelves so I can see them to use them…never ending. I am going to have to break down and sell a few to have enough room to do what I want in my room. BTW I collected Studio G for quite a while and there are several alphabet sets. I think I read they were made by Hampton Arts once upon a time. Thanks for stopping by my desk and leaving a nice comment! Vickie aka Okienurse

  18. Hope you have luck in finding the stamp sets that you are seeking. Always great to see and hear what you are doing. I've been creative lately so my desk is a mess!

  19. Nothing like an hour's snooze that lasts 5 hours! I catalogued my stamps into a big box, LOL. All in one place! I just use whichever comes out first, haha! You're so much better organized than I am. Thanks for visiting earlier. Hope it doesn't get too hot for you in your neck of the woods. It's quite a bit cooler here now. zsuzsa #28
