WOYWW #331 - Merry Christmas!

Each Wednesday we join Miss Julia over at Stamping Ground to open up the doors to our studios and let you see what we are working on. We are always looking for new workspaces to snoop through, so join us! We'd love to have you.

I'm jumping in this week because I actually made a card (see yesterday's post) and I actually have a surface to work on again. Yay!  Everything you see here is laid out in preparation for making my Christmas cards. I wanted to do them on Saturday for National Card Making Day but I wound up just working on the card list instead. My silly OCD won't let me do anything until all the components are in place.

Quick photo tour. The ring binder in the foreground is where I keep all the card ideas I've saved from SCS and Pinterest. I try to label them with the original designer so I can credit them when I make mine.

Across the back, the most recent flyer from Tim Holtz, preprinted sentiments, 2 new punches from WeR Memories that I got off clearance last week, cards in envies I've already completed and the paper keepers holding the Recollections cardstock and all of my Christmas DP.  In the far ground, the card blanks. I my SU cardsstock for my artistic friends who appreciate the love that went into them.

  2. Love it, all ready and waiting! Its no bad thing to sort out the list before you start making the cards, after all, making too many is pointless. Unless you know you'll be able to find them next year!

  3. Looking good, but like everyone else, still waiting to see the whole finished product. Good luck on the Christmas cards. I'm about ready to start on mine also. About time!

  4. Hi Kelly sweet thing. You are looking very organised and tidy. I can well understand this way of working but don't seem to be able to achieve it. I shouldn't tell you this but I have more TH dies that you can't see but I have been collecting them for a long time, okay I can tell you're not accepting this as an excuse Lol! have a great week and happy crafting, Angela x

  5. HI Kel, love your super organised and tidy desk! Thanks for your visit and your two lovely comments and your very kind words. I do try to keep my spirits up and am sooo glad this chemo journey is so nearly at an end! Can't wait to get my life back again and start doing more things. So glad you like the Brushos! They are wild to use - so unpredictable and you need so little to get the effect! Great fun playing.

    Happy belated WOYWW,

  9. That's a great way to keep your card ideas handy. Plus you can switch them out as your mood changes or you've used up that inspiration. Your desk is looking good, all ready for the card making factory. I had big plans for World Card Making Day too but ended up feeling lousy. As you know from your visit to Dio and I earlier, I ended up being full on sick later. I'm better now and this weekend is another to try again. Judy #48

  10. I had to smiled when you said you were OCD, since I'm very much one myself. However, I have to admit your desk is much more organized than mine is at the moment. I saw your cool explosion card in your previous post. I need to try something like that sometime. Blessings!
