WOYWW #595

 Good morning, crafty friends!

Wow! Hard to believe that in five short weeks we will be celebrating our 600th WOYWW... all because we feel safe in sharing not only what we're up to but what a messy (or on the rare occasion) work space.

Here's mine with the aftermath of the baby album project.

Not a lot of change from last week except for one ofthe 'completed' albums. After I'd filmed the video I realized I'd not included any of the pretty fabric I had selected so I'm going to find a couple of places then everything needs cleared for the next big project.... finishing past October Daily albums and prepping for the November junk journal challenge with Dearjuliejulie.

Here's the video from last week:

That's it for my desk (and story) this week. Who's Miss Julia and why am I here?  When you are done visiting me in the Ozarks, please hop on over to Stamping Ground  for all the details. Miss Julia has a long list of other studios you can peek into. No standing on an up-turned milk pail to look in the window. We open the doors wide and welcome you.  Please leave your number and you'll be among the first on my list.

Creative Blessings!
~ Kelly

  5. What a beautiful baby album, Kelly. I've left a comment on your YouTube channel too. What a brilliant keepsake, and a tremendous labour of love, making two, one for each twin.

Thank you for your comment last week - I have had several comments about the bread maker, and bread in general. I have written a piece in this week's post on resistant starch which you might be interested in. I don't think the bread is the problem for the weight gain - it's all that creamy butter you mentioned lol!! We eat bread (OK, not every day) and continue to lose weight. I always use plenty of wholemeal flour and added seeds and grains and we don't add anything to the bread except Marmite (hubby) and sugar-free marmalade (me)! - and eat it with soup. Lol - machines lined up like soldiers! Haha! Your multi-oven gadget thingy sounds brilliant. My Ninja Foodi does several functions too. So glad you like the cross stitch. My new head magnifying gadget allows me to watch TV at the same time as embroidering which is great. I did a post about that a few weeks ago when I got it. I wouldn't be without it now, esp as my cataracts seem to be getting worse, esp in the evenings.

    Happy WOYWW,

  10. Genius Kelly, just a beautiful album filled with really good ideas...a sharpie so her journal doesn’t get smudged...lots of pockets for bits and room for Mon and Dad to have a presence too. Love it, Cassie will be overjoyed. On an even more personal note...my word Kelly, I’d like to give you some of my ability to sleep for twelve hours.

  14. Thank you for your return visit, Kelly - it was no hardship to watch your gorgeous video! The baby album is really stunning. I read what you wrote about the kitties to my hubby and he asked if you ever ask them about sleeping under cars and scrounging from dustbins lol! We always say that to our kitties and they don't care about such things, as long as they get their home comforts. A long-suffering dog, to allow his ears to be licked by such a rough little tongue! Interesting that potatoes and not bread upset your insulin levels. A whole-food plant-based diet is the only one proved to be able to completely reverse type 2 diabetes. People come right off their meds and symptoms disappear - plenty of well-attested evidence can be found online about this. So many of our chronic Western diseases are caused by what's on the end of our fork!

I'm glad you like my outfits. My new leggings really are toasty and lovely, and they are so comfy to wear as well.
