WOYWW #369

My desk this week is a disaster. I've spent more time putting stuff away than playing. While most would look at my room and not see progress, I can. If you check THIS post, you'll see how I spent my weekend. Forecast is showing rain for the next four days so I'll spend today working on blog posts then take advantage of the rain to be off-line and back to organizing.

To the left you can see the newest Paper Pumpkin from StampinUp. I need to get a couple of those done and up on the blog sometime today. Getting everything back to a routine is taking longer than I'd hoped now that Bob is back to work... albeit temporarily.

These are the beautiful ATCs I received in this year's swap.  From top row, left to right:

Lisa Davolt  (wish I could send you some of our rain)
Elizabeth aka silverscrapper
Robyn Josephs (+ goodies came in a lovely envelope made from a calendar picture)
Lisa Meyer (included a lovely postcard.
I loved the stamping on the envelope, including a sentiment that read
'Only dull people send dull envelopes'  and a lovely zentangle stamp of an owl

Bottom row
Jill
Lynne Mizera

One of the envelopes (I'm sorry, I can't remember whose - I'm thinking Lynn) included champagne glass confetti that went everywhere. My husband is still finding a glass here and there - and he smiles.

I am planning to post my ATC/ how to on here Friday. We'll see how much weather permits.

Sending love and hugs to Julia as she continues to improve. If you're hopping around to say hi, we  miss you and wish you the best!

Also continued hugs to Lunch Lady Jan as she continues to heal from her father's passing. Losing a loved one is so very tough.

Wondering what I'm chattering on about? Each week we are blessed with opportunity to visit other creative spaces around the world, courtesy of Miss Julia. While our sweet travel director, Julia,  is on a medical hiatus, her friend Jan (LunchLadyJan) is helping us along.  So, When you are done visiting me in the Ozarks, please hop on over to Lunch Lady Jan where she has a long list of other studios you can peek into. No standing on an up-turned milk pail to look in the window. We open the doors wide and welcome you. J  I can't wait to peek.

  1. Oh I love that...only dull people send dull envelopes! I love making envelopes with my scoreboard, and I remember my mailman looking shocked one day when I was sending out some happy mail in my gorgeous envelope! Happy Wednesday! Sandy Leigh #31

  2. Hi Kelly, there have been some wonderful ATC's this year, haven't there? Your comment about the confetti in the card made me smile, we have a FB friend who always puts confetti inside her Christmas cards- she gets a lot of (friendly) grief off people every year, lol. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #6 xxx

  3. Lots of fab ATC's - I've loved the swap this year (my first one). I didn't think to decorate any of the envelopes but I definitely won't be dull next year!
Hope you have a great week, and thanks so much for stopping by my desk earlier,

  4. I'm glad you liked the envelope I made. I was afraid my ATC skills were not up to scratch so I thought I'd better do something extgra special with the envelope.

  5. Hi Kelly, I tried to send you my email but you use a "noreply Blogger" which means you wont get it and you don't have a contact form so it's difficult to get back to you. If you use my contact form to reach me then I should be able to get back to you, hope that makes sense.
Now back to the desk Lol! Now it's all nice and tidy you have no excuse so we expect to see lovely things Lol! Thanks for the visit to mine, have a great woyww and happy crafting, Angela x 15

  7. Oh, well done for the continuing organisation of your craft room...it's a tough job but one worth doing when you know where everything is! I do love a rainy day because it means I can have carte Blanche for crafting instead of doing other stuff :-)
I saw your comment on Sandy L-J's blog, are you quite close to her then? I'm jealous, I'd love to meet up with you both!

  9. The envelope & the inside need to be dressed as well, yours are awesome. I need to get a bit carried away - haha, as mine are usually very small & simple on the envelope. blessing, donna #9

  10. Lovely post, Kelly - great ATCs, and well done with all your tidying! I hopped back to the previous post and am amazed at your organising skills. When you've finished, would you like to come and tidy my studio for me? It's a tip, lol!

Thank you for your visit and your nice comment. I am so grateful for all the excellent care that I have had over my cancer, and the follow-up course which is so awesome, and it's lovely to be able to put something back and help others, by writing it up and sharing it on my blog. It seems that here in the UK we are in a minority, with all the superb support we get. I'm so glad you like my footprints card, and I am thrilled to be using the cutting machine again - it's another sign of me getting my life back!!!

    Happy belated WOYWW,
