My desk as I left it last night. I've had to start using cheaters for close-up work. Darn it! If I have to use them, they're going to be colorful.
Other things you'll see (L-R) bits and pieces from other projects. I'll put them together in the near future. A 12x12 One Sheet project for the SU blog. Towards the back, ink spots being used and stamp cases of ink spots, reinkers and stamps.
Here's how the one-sheet is shaping up:
Everything is cut up and I've begun to assemble. I'll also be sharing a tip. This is supposed to post on the SU Blog tomorrow (3/29)
That's it for my desk this week. Who's Miss Julia and why am I here? When you are done visiting me in the Ozarks, please hop on over to Stamping Ground for all the details. Miss Julia has a long list of other studios you can peek into. No standing on an up-turned milk pail to look in the window. We open the doors wide and welcome you. Please leave your number and you'll be among the first on my list.
Creative Blessings!
~Kelly
Wow that's quite a busy sheet! Hope you have a lovely desk day!

That's an intriguing looking project Kelly. I shall have to try and pop back tomorrow to see the finished version. Happy WOYWW Sarah #7
ReplyDeleteOh, tell me about it! I now have to wear reading glasses over my contact lenses which are great for everyday vision but not close up work. Tempus Fugit and all that. Sigh. So I have to have bright and cheerful ones as well which I buy from the cheap stores - there are pairs all over the house!!

Hi Kelly I fear it comes to most of us that something will stop working as good as it used to but I have been told that if it's just your eyesight that's not quite so good then you are lucky as it could be something much worse. I must pop back to see the completed project. Have a great woyww and happy crafting, Angela x19x
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting. I've cheaters all over the house, reading labels is hardest. I like your blog background. I've been loving watercolor but haven't mastered it ~! Enjoy what's left of our week.
ReplyDeleteAre the cheaters your glasses? Sorry for being a bi thick :P I've had to wear them since I was a teen and love mine - they make a face so much more interesting :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting me earlier

that's a busy desk! Have a good week Helen #1
ReplyDeleteHi there, you are not alone with the reading glasses! I have at least one pair in every room! Running late this week, got distracted by the chance to do some gardening again yesterday! Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #8 XxX
ReplyDeleteWhich of our senses would I most be able to manage without? A question I have often thought of but never answered - they are all so precious.
ReplyDeleteJust changed my glasses and suddenly realised that my screen is not bowed out, my cards are not as lop-sided as I think they are - just not fun at the moment until I get used to my varifocals (had them years but new ones always send me on a trip).
Hugs, Neet 2 xx
WOW! Awesome lot of cards! I just rejoined Stampin UP after a couple years of being away. I first joined in 2008 and had been buying ever since either as a demo or as a civilian! I love the stuff! btw...reading glasses are on most desks if you check closely! Hope you are having a great week! ...I am late getting around as usual! Vickie #39
