WOYWW #861

 Good morning, crafty friends!

Before I show you my very 'non-exciting desk':

Mrs. Claus was kind enough to drop a bag of powdered sugar all over my yard. I wish she'd had a much larger bag.

Nothing super exciting on my desk as I had to move all the crafting stuff off the table so I could film an author video this morning on how I plot my books.

Here's a close up of the Week 4 card:

Another one from the November 2019 Paper Pumpkin.
The deer was supposed to be backed by a wooden sled with red handles and a red circle between that and the deer. Can you say 'blood spatter'? LOL
I used Tranquil Tide cardstock and Joyous Noel patterned paper. The brown is soft suede and the sentiment stamped in Tranquil Tide.

That's it for my desk (and story) this week. Who's Miss Sarah and why am I here?  When you are done visiting me in the Ozarks, please hop on over to Sarah’sCraft Shed for all the details. Miss Sarah has a long list of other studios you can peek into. No standing on an up-turned milk pail to look in the window. We open the doors wide and welcome you.  Please leave your number and you'll be among the first on my list.

Creative Blessings!

WOYWW 820

 Good morning, crafty friends!

I have about 4" of snow ( less than we were forecast) and the temperature is currently 8* F.

My backyard looking towards the garden

My desk is in a sad state. I started with a zoom call at 8 a.m. CST with my business mentor, Amber McCue. I spent most of the day working on the laptop there before moving back to where I usually work on the computer. I was there until 6:30 p.m.  Way too long on the screen but Tuesday nights are my 'late' night with my writing group.

I'll mess it up later today. I want to finish cutting hearts from all of the January 2022 Paper Pumpkin scraps and get that put away. Then I think I'll be back to cutting map inserts out for the pockets in the 50 states journal.

Thank you to those of you who shared your places of interest last week. Even if you aren't in the US, was nice to hear about places you treasure.

REINDEER CLUB - A Little Late

Good morning, everyone!

This video was to have gone up on Wednesday but we were without power. I'm finally able to upload and post this morning.

First, a couple of pictures from our snow storm on Tuesday night - named 'Kassandra':

Pignut Hickory

unsure what these 2 are - pine trees in the background

One of my clothes lines with the dogwood tree in the background.
The dogwood lost limbs out of the top.

Tree limbs on the gazebo.
We've been needing to replace this anyway.

Now to Reindeer Club -
We're talking about Christmas Cards - specifically, LISTS.

REINDEER CLUB - June

As our temps begin to climb around here, I am ready for a bit of cooling off. A nice dusting of snow would do nicely.

I was inspired by a card THIS card on Pinterest

Then I had an idea for blue since I didn't have any green glitter paper. As it turns out, I cut the glitter strip about 1/8" too short so I just left it off and still like the way the card came out:

I used a Night of Navy cardbase, Shimmer white for the embossed mat and Dazzling Diamonds glitter paper for the snowflake. The die is a Tim Holtz.

I'll do better in the coming months with Reindeer Club as I am way behind on cards. Bob and I also figured out the base for my Baby Block Christmas Tree. Maybe I can get it done before Fall LOL

What's your Reindeer Club project for this month?
Merry Christmas Blessings!
