MAKE IT - MAIL IT Monday!

 Good morning, everyone!

Bit rainy, gloomy in nthe Ozarks this morning but I'm finally feeling productive.

I'm kicking off a new series called Make It - Mail It Monday.

How many cards have we all made over the years that are sitting in a box yet to bring someone joy? I know I have a lot of them!

While not all of my blog posts will link to YouTube and vice versa, this one will be covered on both channels. Here I will share the product links and dimensions for the cards I'm making on my YouTube Channel.  However, today is a bit different.

I rearranged the stamping corner to accomodate strictly Stampin' Up! stuff. In the process, I put my Akron camera mount too far back on the filming/ crafting table and I just could not get things in frame. After three attempts, today is just a show and tell on the video but the dimensions and product links are here, as will be the normal.

Here's today's card:

You'll find the video HERE

All this month I'll be featuring FLOWERING TULIPS as well as the FLOWERING FIELDS Designer Series Paper (DSP)

Here are the products you will need. (clicking on the links will take you directly to my store. No more searching!) :

MONTHLY CHALLENGE MONDAY - #osbjjc - Baby Albums

 Good morning, crafty friends!

I'm getting stuff done up ahead of time for the week as best I can. Bob and I are here and there celebrating our birthdays so I wanted to make sure crafty stuff was shared.

For Monthly Challenge Monday this week, I'm sharing the particulars for the October Stashbuster Junk Journal Challenge 2020 with @Dearjuliejulie Junk Journal Everyday. I have two baby girl 'First Year' albums to get done by the 14th of this month so this challenge is perfect for keeping me on track.

I'm also sharing not one, but two happy mail envelopes I received over the weekend.

I give up! LOL I've flipped this picture mutliple times, resized it and to top it off the thumbnail you see here is NOT the one on the YouTube screen.
What you see here is an upside down picture of the components for my October kit. On YouTube you get a thumbnail of some of the Happy Mail I received.

I'll be back tomorrow with a 10-Minute Tuesday card that only took 20 minutes! LOL

SHOUT OUT SATURDAY with #SPECTRUM ART & Happy Mail!

 Good morning, crafty friends!

49* this morning in my part of the Ozarks. I have to wonder how much longer my garden will last at this rate. I think I'm ready to pull up, let go and start prepping the ground for next spring.

Today is Shout Out Saturday.

I had to laugh after I did the video. I did not red the note from Madi at Spectrum Art until after I'd done my reveal in the video, stating that y'all needed to check out her channel and that I would have a link in the description box!

I read the card that said if I did 3 things I would go into a monthly drawing for $10 to spend in her shop!

1 - #SPECTRUMART in the subject line

2 - Show off my purchase

3- Link to her channel.

I'll let you know if I win or not. The end of the month isn't that far away! Wait til you see what I got fromm her shop this time!!

So here's the video with the items from Madi as well as the AWESOME happy mail from my friend, Darlene Cave in Canada. I am so blessed!

Here's the video:

I will see you back here tomorrow for Stampin' Up! Sunday. We are making a simple piece of Halloween Decor. Did I mention I was ready for fall? hehe

WOYWW #524

Good morning, everyone!

No time to play for a few more weeks. Too many things to do with the grandgirls.   This is my post for Stamping Ground this week.

I did want to take a moment and thank Angela aka Felix the Crafty Cat for her ATCs and little extras:

Scans of some of her matboards plus the ATC
Her matboards always inspire me and we share a love for Tim Holtz.

The ATC

Then yesterday I received this lovely surprise from Sandra de in Australia:

Sandra knows I've long admired her paintings and am blessed to have received this beautiful rose.

I also have an ATC from CARO but that seems to have vanished off the dining room table. As soon as I unearth it amongst the girls crafting supplies I'll show it off!

that's it for me this week. Thank you for stopping by. I'll be back in full force August 1. In the mean time, I am trying to keep up my SU blog a couple of days a week so feel free to drop by there Tuesdays and Fridays.

Creative Blessings!

FRIDAY FREE-FOR-ALL

On Wednesday, my first ever Close To My Heart order arrived. This is what greeted me when I opened the box.

My CTMH rep is my buddy, Brenda (see DisneyGirl )  on my sidebar under PBR. I swear if we were the same age we could claim separation at birth! So this post is all Brenda's fault. She is such an enabler!

I moved the stamps out of the way to see the bottom two items. Though this picture does not show the item well, you can see the bat and cat. Those are stencil charms. I ordered these to use them as stencils. They are perfect size for ATCs or the APC Challenge I'm working on.

This collection is Christmas Assortment. They go with a paper collection. I have plenty of papers so thought these would be perfect accents for a mini album

But my main order consisted of these:

Since September was National Scrapbook Month and this is CTMH 30th anniversary, they offered a special set of stamps. But you had to order a minimum of $30 in stamps to get the FREE set. I picked out sets I knew I would get a lot of use out of just so I could get this:

These are perfect size for Project Life. I also have a punch set from Stampin Up that coordinates with some of thee. Cool, eh?
And if you've never ordered from Close To My Heart... I am in LOVE with their packaging!

The envelopes are square plastic with snap closure! Oh my. These are going to be so easy to store! They are about the size of a 6x6 pad.

You can bet I'll be playing with some of these new toys in the coming weeks. Right now I'm afraid to see what their October special is. hehe

Creative Blessings!
