 Good morning, everyone!

I am really battling sinus' today so not here for long.

Here is the Day 2 of #31DaysofHalloween Memory Dex:

REMEMBER: You can always check out my channel for all the videos.

I used digitals from Heather A. Hudson at My Artistic Adventures on Etsy. Here is her LINK. She has some nice vintage-styled digitals. I bought three of her Halloween themed and will be buying more.

Here's the video for this week's tag:

MIXED MEDIA MONDAY - #FFIJJC

Today begins a new month-long challenge with dearjuliejulie. She has dubbed February as
February Finish It Junk Journal Challenge!

I think, due to the rough year she had in 2019 (losing both of her parents) she has a lot of unfinished projects she wants to get out of the way and Finish It February had a ring to it. She hasn't given us any restrictions this time around. Only that we may either choose to finish journals we have in progress (yes, there is a BONUS if we finish more than one) or if we don't have ones to fnish, to make journals from items we've already been collecting for a specific journal.

I have several I want to finish this month. Yeah, I know this is a short month but I'll do what I can to get projects out of the way before she hits us with a doosie in March. Ya  know it's coming! lol

I have the following I'd like to complete:

October Daily 2019
ABC Journal
Girls' Vacation albums
A secret journal I can't share at the moment
at leat 3 Valentine Albums for the shop

Aside from a traveler's notebook style and a love notes mini journal for the shop, my October Daily is first on my list:

This one is pretty much finished except for adding pictures.
I was on a roll to finish back in October but then Walgreens totally messed up 100 pictures! I was so ticked. So I decided to print as I go on my little Cannon Photo printer... and promptly ran out of ink. After I got two new ink cartrdiges we were knee deep in the November Challenge and this one never got finished.

I'll be working in tandem with getting the two ready for the shop.. which I'm late in opening because of an incident Saturay that put me off my game. Yesterday teh ribs were so sore from Saturday's episode that I didn't do much of anyting either except work on my manuscript. Progress but not where I needed. Life happens. I'm still sore today but I have to get things done. Bob should be home Wednesday evening.

Okay.. the list. There are 15 elements we need to include in our journals. They're pretty basic for journals across the board but help give us the boost to finish these up.

Fabulous Cover
Fabric Flip
Fold out page
Franken Page (12 x 12 and use it all in the journal)
Flowers
Flip flop page
Flip up Flip down
First (something we've never tried before)
Fun Signature Dangle
Fancy Charm
Fussy Cut images
Frame
Flinch or Playing Cards
Favorite item to make
Fluffy Tassel

she also added that if we do not have room in an existing journal to create a mini album to include the items in.

PRIZES!
Yes, there are always prizes from Julie. She is gracious about giving away digitals she has created. If we finish more than one journal, we get a prize for EACH one we complete!

She is also giving away prizes for each of the things we FINISH from our stash.. so finishing a roll of Washi, a paper pad, box of scraps, bottle/ stick of glue/ tape

So, there you have it. Our February Finish It Junk Journal Challenge!
Do you have journals started you never finished for one reason or another? NOW is the time with a little creative boost.
Come join us! I'm linking her youtube video below where Julie provides a link to our FB group.

WOYWW #539

Good morning, friends!

I am so sorry for not getting around to everyone a couple of weeks ago.. and for not linking up last week. I had the base post in place so all I had to do was add the picture but I just couldn't get there. Was too busy trying to get work out of the way so I could craft with my sissy all weekend.

I'll try to get to folks this week but no promises. Bob is on his way home and I have World Cardmaking Day on Saturday. I've planned a big all-day event on social media.

So here's my desk this week:

Yep, it's still the filming table. Bear with me.. I have  a plan.

In the mean time, here's a close-up of the project you see on the desk:

These will be the Daily page markers in my October Daily Junk Journal. I hope to do a video early next week.

HoneyB still hasn't had his surgery. Pain meds are his friend. He's hating the almost endless kennel time but I have to keep him from using that back leg as much as possible. Before, we were waiting on my vet to be released to 'supervisional duty' from his surgery. Now the vet that would actually be doing the surgery is on 'maternity leave'. Dr. Johnny became a new dad on Sunday.  We're hoping for next week..... just in time for me to head to a writers conference.

Next week is
Take Your Teddy Bear to Work day.
I hope to see bears on lots of desks next week!

Looking for a STOP button here at some point.

That's it for my desk this week. Who's Miss Julia and why am I here?  When you are done visiting me in the Ozarks, please hop on over to Stamping Ground  for all the details. Miss Julia has a long list of other studios you can peek into. No standing on an up-turned milk pail to look in the window. We open the doors wide and welcome you.  Please leave your number and you'll be among the first on my list.

MIXED MEDIA MONDAY - September Stashbuster Junk Journal Challenge

If there is one thing I have a lot of, it is STASH!  The video I'm sharing today is JUST HALLOWEEN! (and not all of what I have for my favorite holiday season).

For Dearjuliejulie's September Stashbuster Junk Journal Challenge, she challenged us to do one of 3 things:
1 - Use A Digital Kit
2 - Use a Paper Pad
3 - Build our own kit

Well, I have been contemplating an October Daily Junk Journal for months and knew I had more than enough to create my own kit. Some items were still assembled from my last project (2017 album)

The other part of the challenge was that we could only buy 3 items.
I was thinking ahead. I had most of the new Tim Holtz Halloween items already purchased (Okay so only in my head but I had to wait til we went to Springfield. I can't help it if we didn't get to go until AFTER Sept. 1!! so I'm not counting those items.

However, I did go with items I didn't have in mind but found WHILE we were in springfield.
1 - awesome witchy napkins at Party City

I had a second napkin (counts as 1 purchase) that says 'it's just a BUNCH of Hocus POCUS'. They don't have that one on the website.

2 - SPELLCAST 6x6 paper pad from Tuesday Mornings. It's by Pink n Main and is discontinued. I like the cut aparts I can use for tucks and tags.

I doubt I'll need to use the third purchase. Goddess knows I have enough! lol

I feel like I should have a big BEWARE sign for this video post. Sadly, I couldn't find a free image graphic. So here you go...

Viewer Beware!

My goal is to get back to more regularity in my postings. Cross your fingers.

WOYWW #480

Good morning, neighbors!

This is what I'm starting my day with. Stuff around the edges needing put away. The white binder is going to become my current SU designer series paper catalog, the brown binder is the beginnings of an October Daily project  using the new Bubble & Toil DSP Stampin' UP! is releasing in a couple of weeks as part of their Holiday catalog. I'll be doing process videos on that so please make sure to subscribe to my KellysCreativeStamping channel on YouTube so you don't miss those.  I'll be doing one for December Daily as well.

Those of you in the UK will recognize the latest issue of cardmaking magazine. All about the bee this time around. Beneath that a 50 ct. package of thermal page laminates. I saw a thing on YouTube for using these to create your own die storage pockets. The system I have, while it works, is bulky and time consuming. I'm a 'flipper' and my current system is a 'flipper' system of sorts. I'll be doing a short video comparison on that as well.

If you've done videos but have trouble uploading them due to size, I recommend ClipChamp. A fabulous on-line tool that will reduce the size of your video without interfering with the integrity. Since being introduced to this program, I'm finally able to upload videos. Yay!!

I've not touched revisions since getting home Saturday night. That's on my desk for today and tomorrow. If you want to see pictures from my research trip last week, they're on my author blog HERE.
