Good morning, friends!
Thank you so much for all of your well wishes about my arm. With limited use, the arm is improving. I can tell the days I use it more than I should ;-)
I will have pics of the ATCs I've received... and show you mine. The ATCs I got last week are still in my briefcase. I opened them at the hotel and sent 'they've arrived' notes from there.
This is my desk this week. Towards the back half you can still see the remnants of the Paper Pumpkin adventure. I finished cards up for my post HERE on Thursday then spent all day Friday packing for a 4-day weekend all to myself. I got home late last night in time to add the stuff in the front.
The box in the front is my SU order to be unpacked... along with the stamp sets on top that I couldn't wait to look at. Below that are books I bought at a trade store in Springfield MO. The book you can see clearly is From Elvis to Elvira - a autobiography written by Richard Sturban of The Oak Ridge Boys. That's on my review list. I've reviewed two books by Joe Bonsall (of the Oak Ridge Boys) these guys have done a lot for my career the past couple of years... I am blessed. Oh, don't know what I'm talking about? My day job is artist and music promotion/ freelance entertainment writer. That's the blog with the boots/ cowboy hat button on my sidebar if you want to check it out. I'm The Country Angel ;-)
Wondering what I'm chattering on about? Each week we are blessed with opportunity to visit other creative spaces around the world, courtesy of Miss Julia. While our sweet travel director, Julia, is on a medical hiatus, her friend Jan (LunchLadyJan) is helping us along. You can hop over to her blog to see where to go from here. So, When you are done visiting me in the Ozarks, please hop on over to Lunch Lady Jan where she has a long list of other studios you can peek into. No standing on an up-turned milk pail to look in the window. We open the doors wide and welcome you. J I can't wait to peek.
That's on my desk. What's on yours? Please leave a number and I'll do my best to get 'round. Bob still isn't back to work (but we're getting closer, I think) nor is my arm completely healed ( but feeling much better every day!) so my visits will be limited again ::: sigh :::

ReplyDeleteI first went to your new blog, but decided to post here. I really love the cards you made on your new Stampin-Up blog. And I like that you visited me, because I didn't realize we were such close "neighbors" relatively speaking. Thanks for the visit, and I hope your arm gets better soon.
