First off, for those of us who think it's cold where we are, (I have 13*F at the moment but not sure of the wind chill) My husband is on a tug boat in Chicago and was kind enough to share his temperatures with me via Text:
-21* F
Feels like -49*F
While this may look staged, it really isn't. I've just tossed my planners on the filming desk in preparation for a video I need to film this morning. Beyond that you'll see my Stampin' UP! trash can on top of my Stampin' UP! planner on the left. O the left you'll see punches I was using to punch out icons for one of my planers, tissues, the pencil holder and paper scraps.
Those paper scraps are actually left over pieces from sticker sheets that I've punched stickers from. I can use the smaller pieces to stamp individual words on with Staz On and use on mixed media pages. I'm only keeping what will fit in a small 12-sectioned bead box I got at $ Tree.
For those of you who are planners, I've taken part in a Planner Babe Tag on YouTube. I'm linking it if you want to check out my first on-camera video. :-)
That's it for my desk this week. Who's Miss Julia and why am I here? When you are done visiting me in the Ozarks, please hop on over to Stamping Ground for all the details. Miss Julia has a long list of other studios you can peek into. No standing on an up-turned milk pail to look in the window. We open the doors wide and welcome you. Please leave your number and you'll be among the first on my list.
Creative Blessings!
~Kelly
Oooh, you like a pile of notebooks, journals, planners just like me. I have about 5 on the go at any one time :)

Wow Kelly, I didn't realise there were so many things to think about when planning. It was very informative. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #4
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about you folk in the mid west. I live in PA it's cold but not like that. My son is due to fly out in a week or so to Chicago, maybe it will have warmed up by then. Poor hubby on a tug boat, now that must be cold out on the water. Take care.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! I couldn't find you on the list and you didn't leave a number where I could visit. Hugs!
DeleteOuch, that is freezing indeed. Love the pile of journals. Thanks for sharing. Have a lovely week, with love and God Bless, Caro x (#30)
ReplyDeleteooh no, way too cold! hope it warms soon... love your journals. helen #3
ReplyDeleteStay warm.
ReplyDeleteYour desk looks great. Happy WOYWW xx Jan (21)
Chicago has been on the news over here in the UK as well...good grief, I can't imagine what that sort of cold feels like. Hope your hubby is ok. It's nice to see your journals on the desk!

Oh you’re a clever doll! Lovely planner action! I think the rule about the little bits to fit in the $tree box is very sensible...otherwise, where would you stop!!
ReplyDeleteI'm very late this week so will pop back to watch the video later.......well probably tomorrow actually! Nice looking journals you have there too. Have a great week and a happy belated woyww, Angela x15x
ReplyDeleteOh you bold woman... you sit and talk on camera like you did this all your life, nice to see you! I don't do 'face-videos' myself and avoid to talk, I hate my voice and then there is that terribble Dutch accent when I talk in English... eeck! I sometimes film my techniques and process but don't talk - instead I put music and written text/instructions with it. I envy people who feel 'camera-free'... Happy - belated - woyww and have a good weekend! Love from Holland, Marit #18
ReplyDeleteGreat video Kelly! Never been a planner babe myself, but thinking they would help me be more organized. I'll have to check out the rest of your planner videos.
