That's all that's on my desk this week.. and will be gone by this afternoon. Exciting stuff? For me it is.
I've spent the past week sorting all of my Tim Holtz ephemera packs from drawers into folio pockets. You can see a bit about that HERE including a video of how I created the folios.
Paper Dolls is the last of them. There are 61 different paper dolls on this table! Geez. I think I have all of his collections - at least those released in the past four years.
Here are the folios I've filled so far from his other collections - 13 in all:
I'll be doing a video flip-through next Monday showing all of the folios and including any tips I discovered a long the way.
That's it for my desk (and story) this week. Who's Miss Julia and why am I here? When you are done visiting me in the Ozarks, please hop on over to Stamping Ground for all the details. Miss Julia has a long list of other studios you can peek into. No standing on an up-turned milk pail to look in the window. We open the doors wide and welcome you. Please leave your number and you'll be among the first on my list.
Creative Blessings!
~Kelly
Hi Kelly. Well done. Just think how easy it will be to find everything now... have fun using all the bits you now have stored away. Trouble is... you'll have to get them all out again to use them...
ReplyDeleteTake care. Stay safe. God bless.

I think that's a great idea - not only will it keep them tidy and in order, but you'll be able to access them so much quicker. Are you going to do this with all your stash?!

Hi Kelly, great job with the sorting! Not got any of the paper dolls, don't know if I'd ever use them, and already have too much stuff 'I'll use one day', lol. Stay safe,Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #12 X
ReplyDeletethat is one very organised job! No way could I bother with that!! I have a couple of packs cos I thought they'd be great (they are I just don't use them much!) Have a good week. stay safe. Helen #3
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's a good idea to spend time sorting stuff, I often find things that I had completely forgotten about. Wishing you a happy woyww and a great crafty week, Angela x15x
ReplyDeleteNice sorting Kelly. I have plenty of the paper dolls but they are all in the original packets. Don't have much of his other ephemera packs though. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #4
ReplyDeleteYour organisation is going well I see. So impressive.
ReplyDeleteHappy Belated WOYWW. Stay safe and I hope you have a nice week. With love & God Bless, Caro x (#7)
I had to look up Ozarks but it looks beautiful! The folios look wonderful too. Have a great week, Lisa-Jane #17
ReplyDeleteOh my what a useful body you are....I remember you saying you were going to try to use appropriate paper for each foil, but with that many, did it become difficult? I shall watch with internet and send my friend Nancy to see you. She actually has a packet of the paper dolls and loves them but has no clue what to do with them! I cant help, all the TH ephemera is a bit scared to me. I do very much like the folio idea though Kelly, another genius thing that I may have to copy...
ReplyDeleteHi Kelly! You and I are on the same wavelength this week! Although I seem to do things the exact opposite as you! I don't sort anything before,(although last month I did a big colour sort and fussy cut everything) I make my book first using a hardcover children's book, then slot things in where they will fit. I'm sure I will do better at organizing them later. I've mixed all my ephemera together, although I do think I will do one book just for the people. I did post how I did it on my blog. You are far more organized than I am! Have a great week, Lindart #32
ReplyDeleteWell done with your organising, Kelly. Quite a labour of love, but so worth it in the end. It must give you great satisfaction to be able to find things more easily now!
ReplyDeleteHappy belated WOYWW,

Thank you for your visit, Kelly, and for your most welcome belated birthday wishes - as you say, it just extends the pleasure of the birthday! My hubby certainly did make it special, with the pineapple and the knitting needles. Regarding the knitting. I don't do anything complicated with stitches (I always go wrong) but I like to push out the boat with colour. Oh dear, your kitties, too - presumably the chipmunk was a pet? That must have been absolutely devastating. Ours are usually pretty well behaved in the garden but I think a brood of nestlings just out and learning to fly was too much for them to resist! They do love being out of doors and love lying in the sun, but they are happy indoors too. It sounds as if your three have a lovely life with plenty of love!
