First thing, I noticed Sarah hasn't posted to her Blog since October 8th so there hasn't been a WOYWW link up post since then. I do hope she's okay.
I know it's been a minute but recording a video every day in October was about all I could handle. Add in the six day trip to Eureka Springs AR for the writer's conference and a bit of research while I was there, was enough. LOL My book series is set in Eureak Springs so I really needed a couple extra days on either side of the conference.
Let's start with my desk:
Still crafting/ filming on the ironing platform. That should change next week. The leak is officially fixed and I can start putting stuff away. I am so ready to be back in my corner.
This was the 60th anniversary of the Ozarks Creative Writers conference. I've been attending for 30 years and rooming with the lady below for every one of them. But that's not the coolest part. My friend/ roomy celebrated FIFTY YEARS! of attendance. Here's a picture of the two of us. Linda is the happy lady in the front. She was sooo blown away by everything the board did to celebrate her achievement. I should mention she published her first book at 72! Never too late to write a book or do anything you've ever dreamed of.
This past week, I joined in a challenge with Yvonne Preston @ Junk Journal Junkies to make these:
The challenge was to make three Christmas tags. I thought this was the perfect opportunity to start on the ephemera/ embellishments for the Elf on the Shelf journal I've been collecting items for. I won't actually make the journal until next year (Christmas in July maybe?) I posted a craft with me video on my YouTube channel yesterday (Tuesday 11/3/26)
Lastly, I completed my #OctoberDaily/ #31daysof halloween in my planner. I'll leave you with the flip-through video.
That's it for my desk (and story)
this week. Who's Miss Sarah and why am I here?
When you are done visiting me in the Ozarks, please hop on over to Sarah’sCraft Shed for all the details. Miss Sarah has a long list of other studios you
can peek into. No standing on an up-turned milk pail to look in the window. We
open the doors wide and welcome you.
Please leave your number and you'll be among the first on my list.
