WOYWW #752

Good morning, friends!

I woke up to 23*F this morning.... for the third day in a row!  Way too early in the season for this here in the Ozarks.

My desk this morning:

I had the space almost cleared off of the #31DaysofHalloween project you saw last week but I still wanted to get one more challenge project and posted by deadline last night. I had to do something with the 3D Pushout design sheet (by Find It Trading - purchased from Spectrum Art Creations Saturday Live sale)

I used the Botanical Garden collection to make this card:

While the flower wasn't supposed to be Christmasy, I remembered this paper from a retired Stampin' Up! collection called This Christmas and knew they'd go perfectly together.

I'll try to remember to show the  pictures next week that I took of our roadside wild plants yesterday morning.
In the mean time...

That's it for my desk (and story) this week. Who's Miss Julia and why am I here?  When you are done visiting me in the Ozarks, please hop on over to Stamping Ground for all the details. Miss Julia has a long list of other studios you can peek into. No standing on an up-turned milk pail to look in the window. We open the doors wide and welcome you.  Please leave your number and you'll be among the first on my list.

 Creative Blessings!

~ Kelly

  3. Your memory did serve you well, those flowers are perfect for the card! Goodness, 23F does sound cold, we’re waiting for a storm to hit that has barrelled its way across the Atlantic, could be up to 80mph winds. Stay warm and safe!

  5. well Kelly, how impressive. Not only remembering that you had the perfect paper for those flower images, but being able to locate it as well...wow! It made a beautiful card I must say. Gosh your temps are a bit anti social already aren't they, how rude!!

  6. Hi Kelly, I'm here at last! As usual the boiler man didn't arrive until lunchtime and then I had to keep the dogs busy while hubby looked after him. By the time that was over and I caught up with a few other jobs it was evening, don't know where the time goes. The card is gorgeous. Don't like the sound of that temperature at all. Wishing you a late but happy woyww. Hugs, Angela x10x
