WOYWW #744

 Good morning, Crafty friends!

NOTE: I wrote this post Tuesday morning, thinking it was Wednesday. By the time you read this, I may have finished breaking down the Paper Pumpkins. LOL

Also, if you haven't checked out the Creator's Corner visit with our very own Tracy Easson, here is the LINK to her post.

I  spent most of yesterday breaking down the mound of Paper Pumpkin kits in hopes of finding fall themed kit elements I could use in the #KCDSeptJJ23 journal. Tag Tuesday's this month will feature tags for that journal. After breaking down about half of the kits, I'd found a few orange paper feathers.  This is where I left off:

The postal box on the left is where I'm putting kits that need completed. The photo box on the right holds the stamp sets from completed kits.

And here's my desk as I left it last night after recording the tag video:

The brown card stock to the left is my 'reminder' of dimensions for the size I need to cut the file folders down to. You can just see the spool of lace in the center back and that's pretty much all that's left of the tag session.

For my journal this month, I'm making a requested tutorial for using file folders and junk mail envelopes.

That's it for my desk (and story) this week. Who's Miss Julia and why am I here?  When you are done visiting me in the Ozarks, please hop on over to Stamping Ground for all the details. Miss Julia has a long list of other studios you can peek into. No standing on an up-turned milk pail to look in the window. We open the doors wide and welcome you.  Please leave your number and you'll be among the first on my list.

Creative Blessings!

~ Kelly

  4. That was a lot of boxes. I thought the Halloween ones might be of special interest, but I see you also included Christmas and flowers. Quite a project you created for yourself. I see you now have it organized and I look forward to seeing the tags you will be making this month, Kelly. Happy WOYWW from # 5.

  12. Oh my goodness, got a bit involved with the end of the acrylics course and seem to have signed up for a watercolour one too (wed-fri) and what with the heat and not sleeping even worse that usual, I'm only just emerging form all the stuff and the dust is settling.

Oh my word that is a lot of boxes/kits. Think I lost the plot with the postal boxes though. Anyway thanks for the advice about cutting down my art work, that will surely help with the less appealing pieces.

  13. Gosh Kelly that’s a lot of ‘breaking down’ . Are the stamps the same in each kit? Because of course it wouldn’t kill me to help you out by buying a couple of sets if you neeeeed me to!! Bob retiring? Argh. I e been on at Barry to do the same for so long and now he’s actually considering it. I’m a bit fearful for my routine!!
